Patch Patch 2.1.30 2025-11-04
As a tank-roaming hero, Minotaur's ability to provide healing and buffs to his team far exceeds his own survivability as a tank. We want his combat ability to better match his character.
We've revamped the original Enraged Regen effect that enhanced Skill 2 as Minotaur's new passive to improve his durability in combat.
We've also added Slow Effects to the first 2 hits of his Ultimate to improve the hit rate of the final hit's Airborne effect.
For balance, we have reduced Minotaur's ability to provide healing and buffs to allies, though he remains a unique tank with the ability to heal teammates.
Passive -  Rage Incarnate REVAMP
Minotaur motivates for 3s after using the skill. When Enraged, the Regen effect is doubled.
[Motivation]: Recover HP equal to 5% of damage taken from enemy heroes (+1%*hero level).
Skill 2 -  Motivation Roar REVAMP
Healing Range: Minotaur recovers himself and all surrounding allies >> Minotaur recovers himself and the ally with the lowest HP nerby.
Additional Lost HP Recovery: 5% >> 8%
Enraged: Remove previous Enraged effects. Now Minotaur recovers himself and all surrounding allies
Ultimate -  Minoan Fury ADJUST
Slow Effect: 40% >> 60%
Airborne Duration: 1s >> 0.8s

As Minotaur's core mechanic relies on Airborne, he has been impacted by the new Resilience effect. To compensate, we're improving his durability.

Minotaur has learned to control his rage and unleash it at will during his Ultimate.
Passive - SkillName SkillName
Effect Revamp: Applying a control effect to an enemy with skills will reduce their Hybrid Defense and healing an ally with a skill will increase their Hybrid Defense for 2s. These effects are doubled in Enraged State.
Skill 1 - SkillName SkillName
CD: 8-5.5s → 12-9.5s
Removed the Attack Speed Reduction on enemies effect.
Duration of Enhanced Basic Attacks and Movement Speed Reduction on Enemies: 3s → 2s
Skill 2 - SkillName SkillName
CD: 12-9.5s → 10-7.5s
Removed the Attack Speed bonus effect.
Ultimate - SkillName SkillName
Rage has been removed. Minotaur now enters the Enraged state immediately and starts smashing the ground upon using the Ultimate.
CD: 50-40s → 60-50s
Cooldown starts after the Enraged state ends.

We want Minotaur to use his Ultimate more often, so we have increased his Rage gain.

Minotaur's Ultimate is formidable in teamfights, but its demanding conditions resulted in it being difficult to pull off in higher levels of play. We've reduced the requirements for Minotaur to cast his Ultimate and its effects, while increasing his skill's control capability to ensure he can perform well before LV. 4, too.
Passive -  Rage Mode
Accumulated Rage will no longer dissipate. As a trade off, Rage gained from damaging heroes has been slightly reduced.
Skill 1 (Default & Enhanced) -  Despair Stomp
New Effect: Targets hit are knocked airborne a slight distance.
Skill 2 -  Motivation Roar
Removed the Rage gain effect.
Ultimate (Default) -  Minoan Fury
Rage Gain: 5 → 3 Times
Ultimate (Enhanced) -  Minoan Fury
Effect Revamp: The first two phases no longer knock targets airborne, but slows them by 70% instead. Slightly increased the animation time before the knock up on the third strike. This skill is unaffected by crowd control effects.

We're slightly boosting Minotaur's strength in the non-Enraged state.

Upon successful hits, Minotaur enhances his Basic Attacks for the next 3s, dealing extra damage.

Adjusted. All his skills' cooldowns now reset whenever he enters the Rage State.
