Valir's Ultimate currently has two drastically different effects: increasing damage and removing debuffs. We've streamlined this by removing the damage-increasing effect while strengthening his Passive Damage instead. We've also improved the control experience of Skill 1 and enhanced its lane-clearing/combat ability in the mid-to-late game.
Passive - Ashing BUFF
Ablaze Damage Duration: 4s >> 3s
Sustained Damage per Second: 0.6% of target's Max HP >> (1 + 0.2% of Magic Power)% of target's Max HP
Detonation Damage: 6% of target's Max HP >> (5 + 1% of Magic Power)% of target's Max HP
Skill 1 - Burst Fireball BUFF
Fireball Flying Speed: 11 >> 12
New Effect: The skill cooldown can now be affected by Cooldown Reduction
Skill 2 - Searing Torrent BUFF
Firewall Damage: 80-120 + 24% of Magic Power >> 100-150 + 30% of Magic Power
Ultimate - Vengeance Flame NERF
Removed Effect: Increased Base Damage of Skill 1 and Skill 2.
Valir has a hard time hitting enemies consistently during late-game teamfights, and so we're slightly boosting his ability during the late game.
Skill 1 - Burst Fireball
Charge: 8.5s → 9-7.5s
Skill 2 - Searing Torrent
Optimized the casting of skills. The animation now matches whether or not the skill is successfully cast.
As a Mage, Valir should be able to clear lanes faster.
Skill 1 - Burst Fireball
New Effect: Killing Minions and Creeps with Skill 1 also grants a charge.
Skill 2 - Searing Torrent
Cooldown adjusted from 11-9 → 13-10s
Skill 1 - Burst Fireball
Basic Damage of explosion upon enemy hit decreased from 260-410 to 235-410.
Explosion damage adjusted accordingly.
Skill 2 - Searing Torrent
CD increased by 1s at all levels.
Mana cost increased from 65-90 to 80-110.
Skill 1 - Burst Fireball
The damage of the fireball increased 10 at all levels.
The burst damage increased 5 at all levels.
Ultimate - Vengeance Flame
Extra Damage Bonus adjusted from 25%/32.5%/40% → 30%/35%/40%
Skill 1 - Burst Fireball
Basic Damage of the first and second phase decreased 30/15 at all levels.
Skill 2 - Searing Torrent
Basic Damage of the firewall decreased from 100-150 → 80-120
Magic Damage Bonus decreased from 30% → 24%
Ultimate - Vengeance Flame
The CD of this skill adjusted from 30s → 36-30s
Damage Bonus decreased from 30%/40%/50% → 25%/32.5%/40%
